Connecting for Impact

Welcome to The Good Intro. We bridge the gap between top marketing, creative, and strategic advisors who want to leverage their skills for good and high impact not-for-profit organisations and world-changing ventures.

Advisors can register to donate up to three 90-minute advisory sessions per year, allocated across three different organisations. Likewise, organisations can receive up to three free advisory sessions annually, based on their shifting needs and priorities.

If you’re interested in joining us as an Advisor or applying for organisation support, read on for more details and to register

Meet some of our Advisors

  • We work with both for-profit and not-for-profit organisations that meet the following criteria:

    - Focused on tackling one or more of the world’s most significant challenges, including climate change, health and wellbeing and inequality.

    - Have the potential to or currently make positive impact at scale.

    - Marketing expertise are needed to significantly impact outcomes.

  • Organisations that meet the criteria will be matched with top creative, marketing and commercial professionals based on their needs to amplify and accelerate their efforts.

Each advisory engagement will be with a different Advisor and consists of one 90 minute session with the goal of delivering actionable value to the organisation, whether that be advice, introductions, resources etc.

Organisations will be able to make three Advisor requests per year based on their shifting needs and priorities.

  • By becoming an Advisor for The Good Intro, you will be able to leverage your expertise and experience to help build a better world, offering 90 minute Advisory sessions to organisations tackling issues you’re passionate about. The goal of each engagement is to deliver actionable value to the organisation, whether that be advice, introductions, resources etc.

We ask advisors to commit to up to three sessions per year spread across three organisations. However this may not always be required, or you may even choose to give more time to a specific project.

  • No, The Good Intro is proudly funded and run by The Good Works as a key part of our mission to support organisations that are making a meaningful impact in the world. It also strengthens The Good Works' efforts to build a dynamic network of purpose-driven professionals, creating a powerful cycle of mutual support.

  • 1. Organisations apply to The Good Intro for support.

    2. A member of the team reviews their application against our criteria.

    3. Organisations that match the criteria will be onboarded and provided with a 'briefing' form to request support now and in the future.

NB: organisations that don't meet the criteria at this moment in time will be informed and invited to reapply at a later date

    4. When organisations submit a brief, The Good Intro identifies the best potential Advisor and sends out a request.

    5. Once the identified match confirms their support, we send out an introduction along with guidance for getting the best from the engagement.

    6. If an identified match cannot support, another will be selected. We aim to make the match within four weeks of the request.

Please note we are unable to guarantee support, as advisors need to accept the match, but we will always do our best to find you what you're looking for.

  • Whilst we would love to get stuck in with every organisation we work with, our aim is to deliver value at scale and in order to do that, we hand over once a successful ‘Intro’ has been made.

  • We are currently taking founding registrations for The Good Intro. If you would like to apply to become one of our founding organisations, please complete this short form with your details and your biggest marketing and growth challenges. It should take around 10 minutes to complete. Once your application has been received, one of the team will be in touch within 2 weeks.

  • If you would like to join The Good Intro as an advisor, please complete the application form with via the 'Become an Advisor' button, sharing with us your details and the issues you are particularly passionate about. Once submitted, we will be in touch with next steps.
